Assessment & Evaluation

Billing for assessment services differs from standard therapy. Please review the coverage details for your specific assessment needs:

Autism & ADHD Psychological Assessment

  • In-Network (New York ONLY) with Aetna for clients located in New York (subject to standard copays or deductibles)..

  • Out-of-Network & Self-pay (NJ, PA, and non-Aetna NY plans): $995. I provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Gender-Affirming Surgery Evaluation

  • In-Network (New York ONLY) with Aetna for clients located in New York (subject to standard copays or deductibles).

  • Out-of-Network & Self-Pay (NJ, PA, and non-Aetna NY plans): $450.
Fee includes a fully compliant summary letter and a superbill for potential out-of-network insurance submission.

N-648 Medical Exemption Waiver Evaluation

  • $1,200 to $1,600 (depending on case complexity). Specialized immigration waivers are not covered by health insurance. Fee covers medical history review, clinical interviews, diagnostic testing, and completion of official USCIS documentation.

You’ve made room for everyone else’s needs.
What would it feel like to make room for yours?

Payment Options

We accept Zelle and major credit/debit cards through Stripe. Customized fee arrangements for self-pay therapy can be discussed during your 20-minute phone consultation.

Therapy Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your therapy appointment, please do so at least 48-hours before your appointment.

Therapy appointments cancelled or missed without 48-hours notice for any reason, including illness and emergency, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full session rate. This fee is different from your co-pay and is not covered by your insurance.

Assessment Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your evaluation date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the date of testing. (Note: In-network Aetna assessment clients in NY are billed according to carrier guidelines without a self-pay deposit).

  • Rescheduling: We can transfer your deposit to a new testing date one time, provided you give at least 72 hours notice. Because a reserved evaluation block involves dedicated preparation time, rescheduled appointments are final and non-refundable.

  • Cancellations & Refunds:

    • 7+ days before evaluation: Full refund, minus credit card processing fees

    • 3 to 6 days before evaluation: 50% refund

    • Less than 72 hours before evaluation: Non-refundable

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
